They had an innovative new idea and a hard deadline: a working mobile app to demo live at The Car Wash Show in just six weeks, plus a partner who could keep developing it long past the prototype.
The vision was a single app to monitor every aspect of car wash site management, built on the concept of the connected car wash. We brought NCS Lens to reality.

Monitor connected car wash hardware in real time (chemical levels, vacuums, and lights) from a single mobile view.
IoT data architecture
Drove NCS sub-brand development on a secure IoT sensor data architecture built to scale across sites.
Real-time alerts
Push alerts keep app users notified the moment hardware hits an error or warning state, before it becomes downtime.
Workflow & status
Added workflow and status management so every issue is assigned, tracked, and resolved. Nothing falls through the cracks.
Built for handoff from day one. Cloud services were architected entirely within Amazon Web Services so support could transition cleanly to NCS's internal team down the road.
Software architecture and programming for both the React Native mobile app and the API.
Cloud architecture and hosting on an AWS Docker / ECS-based stack.
Integrating with several equipment-metric APIs and building webhooks to consume on-demand push metrics.
Full CI/CD across multiple environments through GitLab.
